I've loved animals since I can remember. This deep love of animals is what inspired my sabbatical to Africa in 2018 to rescue and rehabilitate lions, leopards and so many more.
After experiencing the beauty of wildlife first hand, I knew I needed to find a way to work with animals on a daily basis. And, four years ago, in the absence of many lions or leopards in the UK, A Helping Paw was born.

My approach is simple: your dog comes first. I only care for one family or individual dog at a time to make sure that the care I'm giving is tailored to them and replicating the love and energy you have at home.
I treat all of my dogs like my own, and I invest heavily in building a special bond that means they run back through my front door everytime.
Whether it's a walk, a few hours daycare or a sleepover, I promise they’ll have the best time and my goal is that they never want to leave!
DOGGY DAYCARE
If you've got a day back in the office or wanting an evening out but worried about leaving your pup at home? Doggy day care is the answer. After dropping off your dog at my home, we'll have a fun filled time playing, going on walks, having training sessions, with lots of cuddles & belly rubs in between too!
DOGGY SLEEPOVERS
Going away for the weekend or on holiday & wanting peace of mind for your pup? My aim is to give your dogs as good a holiday as you're having, living with me as if they're my own. They're with me 24/7 going on walks tailored to them, chilling on the sofa with me in the evening - all following their normal home routine that they have with you!
DOG WALKS
I only offer solo walks to ensure it's a positive experience for your dog. No two dogs are the same so I tailor our walk based on your dog's personality, activity level and size - making sure they have both mental stimulation & larger space to exercise.

Victoria is amazing at looking after our pup Reggie. He loves going to stay with her, sometimes we wonder whether he wants to come home he always seems to have so much fun! We always get pictures and updates throughout the day to keep us reassured. Victoria is very knowledgeable about dogs, understands Reggie’s reactivity and remains patient with him.
